Honors Morris Anderson for more than 52 years of distinguished service as an official court reporter for the 8th Judicial District in Alabama.

Recognizes Anderson's graduation from Lippert's Court Reporting College in Plainview, Texas in 1964 and his career serving under Circuit Judges James N. Bloodworth, R.L. Hundley, Sherri Paler, and Jennifer Howell.

Commends Anderson for serving as court reporter in the first Alabama trial where an African American served as juror and the first Alabama trial where a female served as juror.

Acknowledges Anderson's service as President of the Alabama Court Reports Association for two terms and as a member of the Alabama House of Representatives from 1990 to 1994.

Directs the Legislature of Alabama to highly honor and commend Morris Anderson in appreciation for his service to the state.
