Mourns the death of Alabama State Comptroller Thomas L. White, who died on January 19, 2017, at age 67 following a brief illness.

Recognizes White's more than four decades of service to Alabama, including roles as State Comptroller, Chief Financial Officer at the Department of Public Health, and Chief Financial Officer for the Alabama Public Health Care Authority.

Notes White's civic leadership roles including membership on the Executive Committee for the National Association of State Auditors, Comptrollers, and Treasurers, and his position as President-elect of the National Association of State Comptrollers.

Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Jane White; four daughters; four granddaughters; one grandson; one brother; and two brothers-in-law with their families.

Senate adopted the resolution on February 23, 2017, and the House adopted it on March 2, 2017, offering tribute to White's legacy and sympathy to his family and friends.
