Commends Dr. Mark Heinrich for outstanding professional achievements upon his retirement as Chancellor of the Alabama Community College System on April 1, 2017

Recognizes Dr. Heinrich's doctorate in counseling from The University of Alabama and A.A. and M.A. degrees in psychology from Tennessee Tech University, with a career in higher education spanning more than 30 years

Acknowledges Dr. Heinrich's involvement in accreditation, strategic planning, program and curriculum development, budget planning, enrollment management, and academic administrative responsibilities throughout his career

Notes Dr. Heinrich was appointed Chancellor of the Alabama Community College System on September 21, 2012

Directs that Dr. Heinrich receive a copy of this resolution as an expression of sincere personal regard and with best wishes for a rewarding retirement
