Commends Troy University Women's Basketball Team for winning the 2017 Sun Belt Conference Championship on March 12, 2017, defeating University of Louisiana-Lafayette 78-64 at Lakefront Arena in New Orleans.

Recognizes the team's achievement of capturing their second consecutive Sun Belt Conference Championship and earning a berth in the 2017 NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament.

Honors senior Caitlyn Ramirez as the tournament's most outstanding player and seniors Claresa Banks and sophomore La'Tia Fils-Aime' as All Tournament Team selections.

Praises Head Coach Chanda Rigby for achieving three consecutive seasons of 20 or more wins, including the 2017 season's 22-11 record during her five seasons as head coach.

Directs that the team receive a copy of this resolution as evidence of appreciation for representing the State of Alabama.
