HB120 Summary

• Montgomery County Commission members shall receive an additional expense allowance of up to $500 per month, subject to approval by a recorded roll call vote of the commission.

• The additional expense allowance shall be paid from the county general fund and is separate from all other existing compensation, salary, and expense allowances.

• The bill becomes effective immediately upon passage and approval by the Governor, or upon otherwise becoming law.
