Proposes a local constitutional amendment for the City of Homewood in Jefferson County to remove existing ad valorem tax limitations on taxable property.

Exempts Homewood from subsection (i) of Amendment 373 of the Alabama Constitution, which currently limits the total amount of state, county, and municipal ad valorem taxes payable on various property classes in any one year.

Requires an election be held according to Section 284.01 of the Alabama Constitution and state election laws.

Directs election officials to place the amendment on ballots with a description of the measure and yes/no voting options.

Applies only to taxable property within the City of Homewood in Jefferson County.
