• Exempts the Prince Hall Grand Lodge Free and Accepted Masons of Alabama and the Most Worshipful Grand Lodge F.&A.M. of Alabama from all state, county, and municipal sales and use taxes.

• Recognizes the Prince Hall Grand Lodge as a nonprofit fraternal organization organized in 1870 and the oldest African-American fraternal organization in Alabama.

• Recognizes the Most Worshipful Grand Lodge F.&A.M. as a nonprofit fraternal organization organized in 1821 and the oldest predominantly Caucasian fraternal organization in Alabama.

• Designates these two organizations as the only regularly constituted and legal Grand Lodges of Free and Accepted Masons authorized to operate in Alabama.

• Becomes effective on the first day of the third month following passage and approval by the Governor.
