• Proposes a constitutional amendment to the Alabama Constitution of 1901 establishing that every parent has a fundamental right to direct the upbringing, education, care, and custody of his or her child

• Amendment becomes valid upon approval by a majority of qualified electors voting thereon, in accordance with Sections 284, 285, and 287 of the Alabama Constitution
