Proposes a local constitutional amendment applicable to Chilton County areas outside municipal corporate limits to authorize the Legislature to establish procedures for declaring dogs dangerous.

Permits the Legislature to enact local laws that allow dogs to be declared dangerous and humanely destroyed in unincorporated Chilton County areas.

Authorizes imposition of criminal penalties on owners of dogs declared to be dangerous.

Election on the proposed amendment shall be held in accordance with Alabama Constitution Sections 284 and 284.01 and state election laws.

Election ballot shall include ballot description explaining the amendment authorizes procedures to declare dangerous dogs and provide penalties, with yes/no voting options.
