Authorizes the City of Ozark in Dale County to permit the sale of alcoholic beverages on Sundays within city limits, subject to voter approval by referendum.

City council may regulate which retail licensees sell alcoholic beverages on Sunday and whether sales are for on-premises consumption, off-premises consumption, or both.

Referendum shall specify the types of Sunday alcohol sales authorized and the commencement times for each type, and may be presented as one combined question or separate questions for on-premises and off-premises sales.

Referendum must be held at the next regular municipal election or a special municipal election called by city council, with costs paid by the city.

A second or subsequent referendum cannot be held within 12 months following a failed referendum or one intended to further authorize Sunday alcohol sales.
