Amends Sections 13A-6-152 and 13A-6-153 of the Alabama Code to enhance penalties for obstructing enforcement of human trafficking laws.

Increases the penalty for obstructing enforcement of human trafficking in the first degree from a Class C felony to a Class A felony.

Increases the penalty for obstructing enforcement of human trafficking in the second degree from a Class A misdemeanor to a Class B felony.

Excludes the bill from Amendment 621 requirements by classifying it as a bill that defines a new crime or amends the definition of an existing crime.

Becomes effective on the first day of the third month following passage and approval by the Governor.
