Amends Section 32-6-250.1 of the Alabama Code to expand acceptable documentation for veterans applying for distinctive license plates.

Allows veterans to provide proof of eligibility using a government issued identification card showing appropriate veteran status, in addition to the existing Form DD214.

Maintains other acceptable forms of documentation prescribed by law or administrative rule as evidence of qualification.

Provides alternative pathway: if Form DD214 or other qualifying documentation is unavailable, applicant may obtain a certification of eligibility from the Department of Veterans' Affairs after providing other authoritative documentation.

Becomes effective immediately upon passage and approval by the Governor.
