Amends Section 13A-11-72 of the Alabama Code to prohibit carrying or possessing a firearm on public K-12 school premises regardless of whether the person intends to do bodily harm.

Removes the "intent to do bodily harm" requirement from the existing law, making it a blanket prohibition on firearms possession on school property and school buses.

Maintains exemptions for law enforcement officers, school security personnel, school resource officers, and persons with valid pistol permits.

Establishes detailed exceptions allowing minors to possess firearms in specific circumstances including hunter education courses, target shooting at established ranges, organized competitions, hunting/fishing with proper licenses, and traveling to these activities with parental permission.

Becomes effective on the first day of the third month following passage and approval by the Governor.
