Authorizes the City of Childersburg in Talladega County to permit the sale of alcoholic beverages after 1:00 p.m. on Sundays by properly licensed retail licensees with city council approval.

Requires a referendum to be held at the next regular election or a special election called by the city council to determine public approval for Sunday alcohol sales.

City council may regulate which retail licensees can sell on Sunday, whether sales are for off-premises consumption, and other aspects of Sunday alcohol sales.

Referendum costs are paid by the city, and a second referendum cannot be held within 12 months following a failed referendum.

Act becomes effective immediately upon passage and approval by the Governor.
