• Establishes the Alabama Task Force to Combat Curbstoning to address illegal sales of used motor vehicles by unlicensed dealers operating under false pretenses.

• Task force composed of 10 members including a chair appointed by the Commissioner of Revenue, representatives from auto dealer associations, financial institutions, tax administrators, Attorney General's Consumer Interest Office, and consumer and industry representatives appointed by legislative leaders.

• Requires appointing authorities to ensure task force membership reflects racial, gender, geographic, urban, rural, and economic diversity of Alabama.

• Task force shall hold first meeting no later than June 1, 2018, and must research curbstoning issues, examine motor vehicle licensing laws of other states, and deliver findings and legislative recommendations by February 1, 2019.

• Task force dissolves upon delivery of final report to Legislature; members serve without compensation.
