Recognizes February 27, 2018, as World Spay Day in Alabama.

Establishes that World Spay Day is observed on the last Tuesday in February each year to advocate for spaying and neutering of pets.

Notes that 2.4 million healthy and adoptable cats and dogs are euthanized annually in animal shelters due to lack of resources and public awareness.

Cites that spaying and neutering has been shown to dramatically reduce the number of animals euthanized in shelters and that nearly 90 percent of pets live in poverty.

Recognizes the Humane Society of the United States, Humane Society International, and Humane Society Veterinary Medical Association as sponsors of the World Spay Day campaign.
