Commends Bryan Dewberry, native of Dauphin Island, Alabama, for receiving the 2016 Marine of the Year Award from the P. L. Wilson Detachment of the Marine Corps League.

Recognizes Dewberry's military service in the United States Marine Corps, including his honorable discharge in October 2006 as a Corporal and awards received for good conduct, defense service, and service during the Global War on Terror.

Acknowledges Dewberry's extensive service to the Marine Corps League since 2007 as a life member, including roles as Paymaster, Senior Vice Commandant, Commandant, and Past Commandant, and his receipt of the Distinguished Service Award and Community Service Award.

Highlights Dewberry's additional community service roles including representative for the South Alabama Veterans Council, board member for the Alabama State Veterans Memorial Cemetery at Spanish Fort and Southwest Mobile County Chamber of Commerce, Chief Administration Officer for Foundation, Inc., and committee chair for the Gulf Coast Silkies Ruck.

Resolution was adopted by the House on January 11, 2018, and by the Senate on January 23, 2018.
