AL HJR23

Applies to Congress pursuant to Article V of the U.S. Constitution to call a convention limited to proposing an amendment restricting the number of terms for members of the U.S. House of Representatives and U.S. Senate.

Directs the Alabama Secretary of State to transmit copies of this resolution to the President of the United States, President of the U.S. Senate, Speaker of the U.S. House, Alabama's Congressional delegation, and presiding officers of each state's legislative houses.

Declares this application covers the same subject matter as applications from other states and shall be combined with other states' applications to reach the two-thirds threshold required by Article V, but shall not be combined with applications on any other subject.

Establishes this resolution as a continuing application under Article V that remains in effect until legislatures of at least two-thirds of the states submit applications on the same subject of congressional term limits.
