Commends the students of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, for their leadership and advocacy efforts following the February 14, 2018 school shooting that killed 17 students and employees.

Recognizes the students' organized and respectful efforts to demand action from lawmakers to prevent future school shootings through tighter regulations on gun violence and addressing mental health issues.

Directs copies of the resolution to be sent to the President of the United States, congressional leadership, and Alabama's Congressional Delegation to communicate Alabama's concerns about school gun violence.

Requires a copy of the resolution be provided to Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School to demonstrate the legislature's support for the students' efforts to make schools safe.
