Urges the United States Congress and President Donald Trump to review and reconsider the Common Core State Standards Initiative and summarily reject it.

Opposes the Common Core State Standards Initiative, arguing it enforces a one-size-fits-all curriculum that ignores cultural differences and local educational needs.

States that national standards fail to recognize differences in learning styles, emphasize rote learning over creativity, and do little to address local problems.

Calls for states to maintain sole control over the development, establishment, and revision of K-12 course of study standards without federal control.

Directs the House Clerk to transmit a copy of the resolution to the President, Senate President, House Speaker, and all members of the Alabama Congressional Delegation.
