Recognizes the Professional Fire Fighters of Alabama (PFFA) on the occasion of their 70th Annual Convention in May 2018

Acknowledges PFFA membership of over 3,000 members in 47 cities across Alabama who have assembled annually for conventions since 1948

Commends the PFFA for creating legislation that improved safety and professionalism for firefighters and better equipped them to serve Alabama citizens

Thanks PFFA members for their sacrifice and dedication, noting they now respond to hazardous materials incidents, active shooter situations, swift water rescues, confined space operations, structural collapses, and high angle rescues
