Commends the Security Force at the Alabama State House for exceptional abilities, public service, and integrity in serving the Legislature and citizens of Alabama.

House security under Derek Hamilton maintains 3 year-round personnel and 15 temporary officers during legislative session; Senate security under Jimmetta Gourdine maintains 3 year-round officers and 10 temporary officers during legislative session.

Two Alabama state troopers provide security on session days and committee meeting days; Dothan Security Incorporated provides entryway screening at all publicly accessible entries.

Recognizes that the majority of the security detail are former law enforcement officers who serve as the first line of defense for employees, elected officials, and citizens visiting the State House.

Directs that a copy of the resolution be provided to each member of the Security Force as an expression of sincere gratitude.
