Commends Dr. David Potts on his appointment as Chancellor of Judson College.

Recognizes his 27-year tenure as Judson's 22nd president, during which he made numerous improvements, served as a voice for the Baptist faith, and promoted positive social change.

Honors his collaboration with Kachin Theological College and Seminary in northern Myanmar, which provided 10 young Kachin women with free education in music, theology, and English over 18 years.

Notes his receipt of the 2013 James T. Rogers Distinguished Leadership Award for Outstanding Contributions to Higher Education from the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges.

Expresses the Legislature's admiration and appreciation for his service and best wishes for continued success.
