HJR48 Summary

• Designates the portion of State Highway 85 in Geneva County south from the city limits of Geneva to the intersection of State Highway 27 as the Sheriff L. D. "Red" Sizemore Memorial Highway.

• Requests appropriate officials to place and maintain signs featuring the Great Seal of Alabama and the memorial highway name along the designated route.

• Directs a copy of the resolution be presented to Sheriff Sizemore's immediate family to recognize his service and sacrifice to his country, state, and Geneva County.

• Repeals Act 2012-123 from the 2012 Regular Session (Acts 2012, p. 198).
