• Honors the Arc of Madison County for exceptional service and selection as one of 10 programs nationwide for the National Provider Transformation Network Project.

• Arc of Madison County, established in 1952, serves over 400 individuals with disabilities annually through early intervention, school transition services, job training, residential care, and day programs.

• Organization received 2017 AL-APSE Agency of the Year Award, 2015 Alabama Developmental Disability Agency of Distinction Award, and selection as pilot program for Department of Mental Health's Disability Employment Policy grant.

• Will receive technical support from the Institute for Community Inclusion at University of Massachusetts in Boston in conjunction with the Arc of the United States to advance integrated employment efforts.

• House adopted resolution on January 30, 2018; Senate adopted on February 1, 2018.
