Recognizes March 29, 2018, as Welcome Home Vietnam Veterans Day in Alabama, commemorating the 45th anniversary of the last 2,500 troops being withdrawn from South Vietnam on March 29, 1973.

Honors the 58,260 men and women who died in the Vietnam War and those who survived, recognizing their contributions to advancing American freedoms and democracy.

Specifically honors the 1,207 Alabama residents listed on the Vietnam Memorial Wall for their sacrifice and devotion to duty.

Urges all Alabamians to pay tribute to Vietnam veterans and encourages participation in appropriate programs, ceremonies, and activities such as the ceremony being conducted on April 7, 2018, at the Huntsville/Madison County Veterans Memorial.
