Commends the Red Bay Garden Club of Red Bay, Alabama on its 80th anniversary of service to the community.

Commemorates the club's founding on February 25, 1937 by 12 flower-loving women, with 25 members federated into the Garden Club of Alabama by April 1937.

Recognizes the club's major accomplishments including planting 100 oak trees on Red Bay's Main Street in 1939 (known as the "Tunnel of Trees"), holding their first flower show in October 1937 with 84 entries and 70 awards, and sponsoring Girl Scouts and a Teenage Garden Club.

Notes the club's ongoing charitable work supporting the Red Cross, March of Dimes, and Cancer Clinic, along with community beautification projects including a Christmas lighting contest and cemetery maintenance.

A Red Maple Tree will be planted in Bay Tree Park on March 18, 2018 by the Red Bay Garden Club and Red Bay Tree Commission to celebrate the 80th birthday.
