Mourns the death of Blake Miles Mashburn, who died on February 14, 2018, at age 34.

Mashburn was born in Birmingham, Alabama, grew up in Glencoe, and graduated from Gadsden High School in 2003; he enjoyed fishing, music, and spending time with family and his son.

Survivors include his son Miles Mashburn; mother Jami Sherman; father James Mashburn, Jr.; sister Andrea Smith; nieces Alexandria Knight and Kennedi Clark; nephew Logan Miles; and grandfathers James Mashburn Sr. and Troy Strickland.

The Alabama House of Representatives records his death with deep sadness and offers this resolution as tribute to his life and sympathy to his grieving family.
