Recognizes and honors thirty 4th and 5th grade students from Huntsville City School System who represented Alabama as the official education delegation at the 1988 XV Winter Olympics in Calgary, Canada.

Students were selected based on compelling essays explaining why the experience would be valuable and educational; they attended the opening ceremony, Olympic museums, Olympic Center, and award ceremonies.

Seventy-nine companies and individuals contributed $45,000 toward trip expenses; flags carried during the parade of nations were made in Huntsville, Alabama by CF Flag Co.

Commends the student ambassadors for their representation of Alabama on the 30th Anniversary of their 1988 Olympic trip and during the current Winter Olympic Games.
