Commends James O. Jackson, Jr., Head Basketball Coach at George Washington Carver High School in Montgomery, Alabama for his outstanding professional achievement.

Jackson led the Carver High School Wolverines to the Men's 6A State Championship on March 9, 2018, defeating Paul Bryant 74-59.

During his 17 years as Head Basketball Coach at Carver, Jackson compiled a record of 422-91 wins and losses and won AHSAA Class 6A State Championships in 2012, 2015, and 2018.

Jackson earned Head Coach of the Year four times, State Coach of the Year once, and has won eight area titles and eight regional appearances; he also serves as 3rd Vice President of the AHSADCA.

The Alabama House of Representatives honors and commends Coach Jackson for his immeasurable service and extends sincere best wishes for his future endeavors.
