Honors Jefferson State Community College's Shelby-Hoover Campus on its 25th anniversary, celebrated on February 16, 2018.

Documents campus milestones including its authorization on October 24, 1991, opening on January 4, 1993 with approximately 1,000 students, and redesignation as Shelby-Hoover Campus on April 8, 2004.

Notes the opening of the General Sciences Building on September 7, 2000 and the Health Sciences Building on January 5, 2008, named in memory of Dr. Judy M. Merritt on April 8, 2015.

Recognizes Jefferson State Community College's economic impact on Alabama, its leadership in nursing degree graduates, and its recognition as one of the top digital colleges in the country three times.

Commends the Shelby-Hoover Campus leadership, staff, and students for equipping Alabama's future workforce with academic and life tools to serve surrounding communities.
