Crittenton Youth Services is honored and commended on the occasion of its 100th anniversary, established in 1918 as one of the oldest 501(c)(3) United Way non-profit youth serving agencies in Mobile County, Alabama.

The organization serves approximately 8,000 plus youths annually free of charge, providing educational programs addressing emotional, social, and physical needs of males and females ages 9-17.

Services include bullying prevention training for school staff, healthy relationship education for seventh and ninth graders, abstinence education for eighth and ninth graders, STD prevention education for tenth graders, social and emotional competence instruction for fourth and fifth graders, and senior ambassador programs for bullying prevention.

Funding comes from local, state, and federal grants, fundraising efforts, and individual/corporate sponsors throughout Mobile County.

The 100th Anniversary Celebration will be commemorated with a luncheon on April 19, 2018.
