Honors Mr. Jimmie L. Lott on the occasion of his 100th birthday celebration.

Mr. Lott was born on April 14, 1918, in Carrollton, Mississippi, and served 29 years in the United States Military, including service in World War II, the Korean Conflict, and the Vietnam War.

His three sons—Charles Lott (Army), Arthur Lott (Marines), and Afrid Lott (Army)—also served in the United States Military.

Mr. Lott joined Mt. Sinai AME Church of Centreville, Alabama in January 1971 and remains active in the choir, having served as Steward and Sunday School Superintendent.

Mr. Lott served on Centreville City zoning and water boards, worked with the American Red Cross, and is recognized as a "Distinguished Man" in his community.
