Amends Section 13A-6-61 of the Alabama Code to add a new provision requiring mandatory termination of parental rights for persons convicted of first degree rape.

Applies when a child is born as a result of the rape conviction, requiring the defendant's parental rights to be terminated pursuant to Article 3 of Chapter 15 of Title 12.

First degree rape includes three criminal scenarios: sexual intercourse by forcible compulsion, with someone physically helpless or mentally incapacitated, or by a person 16 or older with someone under 12 years old.

Becomes effective on the first day of the third month following passage and approval by the Governor.
