• Provides a 2.5% salary increase for certificated K-12 personnel beginning fiscal year 2018-2019, with increases applied to each step of the State Minimum Salary Schedule based on years of experience.

• Grants a 2.5% pay increase to education support personnel (K-12) and adult bus drivers beginning fiscal year 2018-2019, with separate salary schedules established for each job classification.

• Extends 2.5% pay increases to employees at the Alabama Institute for Deaf and Blind, Alabama School of Fine Arts, Alabama School of Mathematics and Science, and Board of Youth Services School District for fiscal year 2018-2019.

• Requires a 2.5% salary increase for all employees at two-year postsecondary institutions beginning fiscal year 2018-2019, in addition to any earned step increases.

• Excludes superintendents and certain other employees (JROTC instructors, National Board certification bonuses, local salary supplements) from the pay increase provisions.
