• Abolishes the position of deputy game and fish warden in Alabama and repeals all statutory authorization for the Commissioner of the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources to appoint individuals to this position.

• Amends Sections 9-2-28, 9-2-64, and 9-11-1 of the Code of Alabama 1975 to remove all references to deputy game and fish wardens and clarify that "game and fish wardens" refers only to conservation officers appointed by the Commissioner.

• Repeals Section 9-11-17 of the Code of Alabama 1975, which previously authorized the appointment of deputy game and fish wardens at hunting and fishing clubs without state expense.

• Removes provisions allowing the Commissioner to appoint club superintendents, keepers, or other personnel in charge of club grounds as deputy game and fish wardens.

• Takes effect on the first day of the third month following passage and approval by the Governor.
