AL SB240

Authorizes the Town of Louisville in Barbour County to permit the sale of alcoholic beverages on Sundays after 1:00 p.m. through town council ordinance.

Grants the town council authority to regulate which retail licensees (properly licensed by the Alcoholic Beverage Control Board) may sell alcoholic beverages on Sundays.

Allows the town council to determine whether Sunday sales may be for off-premises consumption and to regulate other aspects of Sunday alcoholic beverage sales.

Takes effect immediately upon passage and approval by the Governor or upon otherwise becoming law.
