Repeals Section 13A-6-83 of the Code of Alabama 1975, which provided specific procedures for paid administrative leave and discipline of school employees charged with certain sexual offenses against students.

Consolidates school employee discipline procedures under the Students First Act of 2011, which provides standard due process procedures for discipline and termination of public K-12 teachers and employees.

Removes conflicting procedures that previously applied uniquely to school employees charged with sexual crimes against students.

Takes effect immediately upon passage and approval by the Governor, or upon otherwise becoming law.
