SB334 Summary

• Amends Section 28-3A-25 of the Code of Alabama 1975 to modify the prohibition on selling alcoholic beverages between 9:00 p.m. Saturday and 2:00 a.m. Monday for manufacturers, importers, and wholesalers.

• Adds an exception to the Saturday-Monday sales ban by referencing Section 28-3A-6(h)(1), which authorizes manufacturers to conduct tastings and samplings at licensed premises.

• Allows manufacturers to conduct tastings and samplings during the otherwise prohibited time period, provided such activities comply with existing Alabama law.

• Becomes effective on the first day of the third month following passage and approval by the Governor.
