• Amends Sections 13A-12-190 and 13A-12-192 of the Code of Alabama 1975 to expand definitions and penalties for obscene materials depicting minors under 17 years of age.

• Revises the definition of "disseminate" to remove the monetary consideration requirement and explicitly include sharing or trading visual depictions.

• Adds "breast nudity" as a visual depiction covered under obscene material crimes involving minors, defined as the lewd showing of post-pubertal female breasts below the top of the areola.

• Establishes possession of obscene matter depicting minors as a Class B felony if possessed with intent to disseminate, and a Class C felony for simple possession; possession of three or more copies creates presumptive evidence of intent to disseminate.

• Becomes effective on the first day of the third month following passage and gubernatorial approval.
