• Allows circuit clerks and registers to designate a beneficiary other than a spouse to receive benefits from the Clerks' and Registers' Supernumerary Fund upon death.

• Permits circuit clerks and registers becoming eligible for supernumerary status to receive a refund of their contributions plus 75 percent of accrued interest as an alternative to fund benefits.

• Enables circuit clerks and registers to change their named beneficiary or spouse designation for the Supernumerary Fund.

• Allows non-spouse beneficiaries to receive 100 percent of contributions plus 75 percent of accrued interest if the supernumerary official's surviving spouse is not the named beneficiary.

• Directs any remaining Clerks' and Registers' Supernumerary Fund balances after all participant obligations are met to revert to the Administrative Office of Courts for Court Specialists statewide.
