Applies only to Coosa County and authorizes the judge of probate to charge fees for remote access of probate office records.

Fee amount is capped at $1.50 or the equivalent of regularly established photocopy fees, whichever is greater.

Collected fees are deposited into a special Probate Recording Fund managed by the judge of probate.

Fund disbursements may be used for records retention, archiving, reconstruction, preservation, maintenance, equipment purchase and operation, and protection from environmental damage.

All fees in the fund shall be audited by the Department of Examiners of Public Accounts and the act becomes effective on the first day of the third month following passage and approval.
