Expands the Board of Nursing's loan-repayment program to include currently certified advanced-practice nurses (CRNPs, CNMs, and CRNAs) in addition to graduate students pursuing these certifications.

Allows loans to nurses who have completed their graduate degree within five years preceding the current loan term and immediately begin practicing in medically underserved areas.

Maintains the maximum annual loan amount of $15,000, with potential annual increases tied to the average percentage increase in Alabama public university graduate program tuition.

Requires loan recipients to work in full-time practice in areas of critical need for 18 months per year of loan received, with minimum commitment of three years if changing practice location.

Becomes effective on the first day of the third month following passage and approval by the Governor.
