Recognizes Chris Beeker's appointment as Alabama State Director of the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA).

Encourages Beeker to rehabilitate rural multi-family housing using new tax credits, private equity bonds, and private investment authorized by Congress and President Trump's tax bill.

Urges Beeker to work with developers to pursue low-income housing tax credits, private equity tax-exempt bonds, and private equity funding for rural housing rehabilitation and renovation.

Aims to improve quality of life for rural elderly, handicapped, and moderate to low-income Alabama citizens through expanded affordable housing.

Directs copies of the resolution to be provided to Chris Beeker and U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Sonny Perdue to communicate legislative support for rural housing initiatives.
