Commends Cadet Colonel Katrina Hunkapiller for extraordinary service to the Civil Air Patrol, an official Auxiliary of the United States Air Force.

Recognizes Hunkapiller as a sophomore at the University of Alabama at Birmingham pursuing a major in Health Care Management who has served in the Civil Air Patrol since March 2011.

Notes her receipt of the General Carl A. Spaatz Award, the highest honor for cadet members, along with other honors including Encampment Commander's Outstanding Cadet, Achievement Award for Outstanding Duty Performance, Distinguished Graduate, and Unit Cadet of the Year.

Acknowledges her participation as the 2016 Alabama Wing STEM Scholarship recipient and attendance at leadership programs including the National Leadership and Character Symposium at the U.S. Air Force Academy, National Emergency Services Academy, Air Force Space Command Familiarization Course, and Cadet Officer School at Maxwell Air Force Base.

Resolution was adopted by the Senate on March 15, 2018 and by the House of Representatives on March 21, 2018.
