Commends Senator William L. Holtzclaw for his distinguished legislative service to Senate District 2 in Limestone and Madison Counties since his election in 2010.

Recognizes his active involvement in committee assignments including Banking and Insurance, County and Municipal Government, Finance and Taxation General Fund, Local Legislation Madison County, Transportation and Energy, and Veterans and Military Affairs.

Notes his background as a resident of Madison, degree holder from Athens State University, retired United States Marine Corps officer who served in Operation Desert Storm in Iraq and Operation Restore Hope in Mogadishu, Somalia.

Acknowledges his eight years of invaluable contributions to the Alabama Senate and his dedicated service on behalf of Alabama citizens.
