Commends Senator Bill Hightower for his distinguished service to Senate District 35 in Mobile County since his election in 2013.

Recognizes Hightower's active involvement in the legislative process through committee assignments including Finance and Taxation, Constitution Ethics and Elections, Fiscal Responsibility and Economic Development, Rules, Banking and Insurance, and County and Municipal Government.

Notes Hightower's educational credentials from University of South Alabama and Vanderbilt University, his private corporate strategic consulting practice, and his service on boards for Bethany Christian Adoption Services, Outback America, and N.E.S.T.

Acknowledges Hightower's community involvement as Toastmasters International President, United Way Corporate Chair, and Advisory Board Member to Outback America, and recognizes his family with wife Susan and three children.

Directs that a copy of this resolution be presented to Senator Hightower expressing the legislature's highest esteem and appreciation for his five years of invaluable contributions.
