Commends Senator Hank Sanders for distinguished legislative service to Senate District 23 (Butler, Clarke, Conecuh, Dallas, Lowndes, Marengo, Monroe, Perry, Washington, and Wilcox Counties) since his election in 1983.

Recognizes Sanders' active involvement in legislative committees including Banking and Insurance, Education and Youth Affairs, Finance and Taxation Education, Transportation and Energy, and Judiciary.

Notes Sanders graduated from Talladega College and Harvard Law School and maintains membership in professional organizations including the National Bar Association, American Bar Association, and Alabama Lawyers Association.

Acknowledges Sanders' 35 years of dedicated service to the people of Senate District 23 and the State of Alabama and his invaluable contributions to the legislative body.

Senate adopted the resolution on March 20, 2018 and the House of Representatives adopted it on March 22, 2018.
