Names a portion of Alabama Highway 35 from the DeKalb County line to the Blanche Community in Cherokee County as the Arthur P. White Memorial Highway.

Arthur P. White, known as "Tarzan," was born December 6, 1915, in Lockhart, Alabama, and was an All-American guard at the University of Alabama and an All-Pro player with the New York Giants and Chicago Cardinals.

White earned a Bachelor of Science degree and master's degree in mathematics before earning his doctorate at Columbia University, then became a professional wrestler and was twice named world champion heavyweight wrestler.

White was inducted into the Alabama Sports Hall of Fame and died in January 1996 at age 81.

Requests appropriate officials to place and maintain signs or markers designating the highway as the Arthur P. White Memorial Highway.
