Commends David S. Nix for his retirement as Circuit Clerk of Barbour County, Alabama after 47 years of service.

Recognizes Mr. Nix as the longest-serving Circuit Clerk in Alabama, having been appointed in 1971 and repeatedly elected with little or no opposition.

Notes that Mr. Nix is a native of Clayton, resident of Eufaula, attended Troy University and Auburn University, and is a deacon at First Baptist Church in Eufaula.
